7 Hair Removal Device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Silk’n 7 Black for a few weeks now and I’m very satisfied with the results. The device feels safe to use thanks to the built-in skin tone sensor, which gives me confidence during treatments. It’s comfortable on the skin, with only a mild warmth sensation, and the different intensity levels make it easy to adjust. I noticed slower hair regrowth after a few sessions, especially on legs and arms. The instructions are clear and beginner-friendly, so learning how to use it was quick and simple. Overall, it’s an effective and convenient at-home hair removal solution.

This device is advertised as suitable for all skin tones. I have very pale brown skin, 3-4 on the 1-6 skin tone chart in the user manual and the sensor flashed orange on automatic mode and level 1, indicating my skin was too dark for any use at all. Extremely disappointing. In addition, the user manual highlights further risks to people with darker skin which aren't in the FAQs on the website. So false claims and lack of transparency.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted the Silk’n 7 Black hair removal tool to help my significant other get rid of his back hair. He doesn’t particularly like how hairy his back is, and i don’t like being the one who has to shave it all the time lol. So when I saw this was up for testing, I was like, OH Heck yeah! I first read through all the directions, because that is an important first step, you should not go into this blindly. The storage case is first class, and it includes 3 different treatment heads, a cleaning cloth, a disposable razor with 5 blades, and the cord to plug it into the wall. The length of the cord is about 67-68” long, as my best guess. It is longer than I am tall, and I am 63” tall. The device works well If you keep your hands on the metal parts of the handle. It works by conducting energy from you to turn on. The only downside of this is my partner cannot snap his own back and I have to do it for him. In order for the device to work on his back with me holding the tool, he has to always be touching me. Which is not that big of a deal I suppose. Anyway, we started this hair removal journey in May 2025 and followed the timeline of when each session should be done. We stopped at the beginning or mid September I believe, and waited for his hair to grow out for a bit to take another picture. I don’t remember how many sessions it takes to see real results, but apparently it is quite a few when you look at my before and after pictures, his back hair is about the same. The tool itself works great, it automatically senses the skin color, or you can choose your own level of intensity if you like. Easy to zap the hair, especially if you slide the device down the back, if you pick up at each zap, it does take a bit longer to charge and zap. I am open to continuing the hair removal journey as it really doesn’t take that long to do his entire back. Hopefully I can come back and review in a years time and show those long term use results.
