I had jeans like these in the 90s! They're the perfect length on me (5'6") and because I have a thicker waist, I love that they are aren't constricting to the stomach area at all. The lower waist style is great, can't wait to wear these with my vintage belts. I'm wearing them now, relaxing on my couch.

Trying two sizes
I'm an 8-10, 5'7" 135 lbs, short torso, long legs. I first tried the 30 (10) and the length was way too long, crotch hung way too low and the "wide" legs were much wider in person than what shows on the model - almost looked clowny. I have a 29 on the way, but believe it will still be too big. Maybe I'll try a 28, but honestly, unless the legs are narrower on smaller sizes, I don't think these are the jeans for me. Also, I live in low rise jeans. Most are Rag & Bones that are upwards of 10 years old and are about 8 inch rise. Even Rag & Bone doesn't make 8 inch rises anymore. Everyone's making jeans that are 9 1/2 rise and calling them low rise. Definitely not a true low rise by any stretch.

baggylarge
For reference I am 5'2" 144lbs normally wear 31 inch waist in jeans as I am thick through middle but these size 30 were huge on me. The legs were much larger than appeared and measured about 24 inches and too large in waist; however the color was a nice lighter wash and seemed well made. Returned day of delivery. Wanting to try the AG baggy wide leg low rise next even though they are pricey.

Awesome well made jeans!
First off, let me tell you I tried the AG wide leg as well and these by far were the best wide leg baggy jeans ever. The length is good they don’t look ridiculously wide legged.Look good dressed up and dressed down.100% buy them.

Size depends on color
I have 3 of these now. Fairfax, palms wash, and sunset wash. I originally bought Fairfax in 27 after reading to size down. Normally wear 28/29 or size 4/6. 27 was still a little loose so I exchanged that color for 26. Much better fit. However in the other 2 washes 26 was smaller. Palms wash fits snug, and sunset wash was too tight to even pull on so I returned that color for size 27, now it's just a snug fit though not uncomfortable. They do gap a little bit in the waist, not as bad as other brands. I think because I sized down it now has a different fit than what it was intended to fit as. These are not a low rise either, they sit just below belly button. And they don't need to be hemmed. For reference I'm 5'4 with a 29" inseam, 27" waist, 40" hips. For the wash difference, I think because the sunset wash is basically over bleached it cuts the stretch down so they're more rigid. If you order that color, order your normal size. The others you need to size down in a bit
