Brightwell Cotton Maxi Dress

Trying to get this on and the straps tied in back to make it look takes four hands. I like the dress a lot and I spent about an hour trying to get this to look the way it does in the picture. I got it to look great in front but I just could not get the back adjusted to look right, and the mid back at the zipper would not look flat once I get the straps tied. I’ll try again when I have some help with the back closure tomorrow, but I think I might have to send it back. Beautiful material and style.

This is the perfect basic dress for grad. It is ankle length (5’2), so it can come across as bridal; it’s still a nice dress. The back detail is also perfect for making a more snatched look without the pain of a corset. Also, as someone who typically wears a US 4, the sizing is pretty true to size! So order your usual size!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this dress so much!! I had to get a size down because the stock was running low, BUT it still worked out and it's great. Fits nice, the quality was great when I got it, the fabric is great, and it looks overall wonderful! The only thing I'd critique is that the seam in the front is kind of off, and since it's a white dress, you can see that slight mistake while wearing it. Also since it's white, some parts may look a tad see-through, but it has an extra layer, so it's not like extremely see-through. Other than that it's been great!
