So luxurious...
Diptyque makes the most wonderful and luxurious candles. The scents are fragrant without being overpowering, and are just so beautiful and rich. I've given and received these candles as gifts. You can still smell the fragrance in the room even if it's not lit, but it's not overbearing. Jasmine is one of my favorites, but they are all truly magnificent scents. Also make sure to light it for 1-2 hours for the first time you burn it so it continues to burn evenly. These candles are definitely worth treating yourself to!

Check Your Candles - Stained
Upon purchasing the candle in person and opening it, it had become melted and stained orange at the top. After contacting Diptyque they claimed it was due to the natural products they use and would not affect the burn or smell quality. Part of the appeal of the Diptyque candle is the visual and aesthetic appearance and obviously this is ruined by the bright orange color (which btw is still there after multiple burns). Spending $80 on a candle and receiving a ruined one, only to be told directly by the company themselves it shouldn’t be a problem, is tragic.

Disappointment
Much to my disappointment this candle had NO fragrance! i had wanted a diptyque for so long so this was a real surprise. Overpriced.

very fragrant
I agree with everything the other reviewer said. These are very strong, but at the same time not overpowering. But it is important to find a fragrance that you like. I left the EMPTY box that the small Jasmin candle came in in my sewing room and days later I can still smell Jasmin when I walk in. So I think you get your money's worth. I thought I would like the Jasmin candle better; jasmine is one of my real world favorite fragrances, but it doesn't translate into the candle. Still nice though.

Not a good scent
This smell is not delightful at all or rich and fruity as jasmine should be. It’s hard to describe but it smells like something rotten or fecal. I am disappointed I spent so much money on this candle. My boyfriend found the scent unpleasant as well.

Fresh Bouquet!
This candle is fantastic! The scent is incredibly raw and alive. I find it to be incredibly stimulating. It really wakes you up -- especially on a late night doing homework or paperwork. It can get a little strong sometimes, but it can radiate through an entire house!
