How to use:
POWDER KISS LIP + CHEEK MOUSSE:
For lips:
- Apply directly to lips as desired with the hourglass-shaped applicator that perfectly hugs lips to fill in lines and enhance lips with a smoothing and blurring effect.
For cheeks:
- Apply directly to skin with fingertips or a brush, building desired color intensity and blending out for a blurred look.
- Dab one to two dots on cheeks for a soft-focus flush of natural-looking color—or add two or more dots for bolder payoff.
EYE SHADOW:
- Prime eyes with Prep + Prime 24-Hour Extend Eye Base (sold separately) for added color intensity.
- Apply over eye area (eyelids and creases) with a 239S Brush, using a pressing motion to build color for a bolder look.
- Apply eye shadow over eye area with a 217S Brush, using a circular motion to blend color for a diffused look.
M·A·CSTACK MASCARA:
- Press the brush into lashes close to roots and shimmy brush through from roots to tips.
- Keep stacking the clump-resistant formula for infinite volume potential.
COLOUR EXCESS GEL PENCIL EYE LINER:
- Apply directly to lash lines for the ultimate precision.
- Apply to lower waterlines/inner rims by pressing the pencil gently against lower waterlines and working across with short, soft strokes until you achieve your desired intensity.
- Apply to upper waterlines by gently lifting lids for easier access, then glide pencil along upper waterlines.

Eyebrows

This is the only color I use on my eyebrows. Occasionally I will apply to eye lids to avoid the greasy look. I am dark brown skinned and the color blends well with my skin tone. Sometimes I can apply to strong and look Frieda like, but when applied lightly, it's magic.

Not very impressed

I usually love every product I buy from MAC but I was not very impressed with this eye kohl. I purchased the color Costa Riche, which is stunning! I have hazel/brown-ish eyes and this color is so beautiful. I have heard so many people rave about this color so I finally bought it. The eye kohl smudges so badly that I look terrible after less than an hour of wear. I use mac paint pot as a base for my eye shadows and eye liner and I never have a problem with smudging with any other eyeliners I use. I do not put eyeliner on my waterline, only on my lash line, so it shouldn't be smudging. I was so disappointed that this product doesn't stay put. I will most likely be sending this item back even though I love the color. It seems pointless to keep a product that is unusable.

Talc is the first ingredient

I was disappointed to find out that Talc is the first ingredient. The list of ingredients are not posted on Nordstrom's listing, so I'm writing here in case someone else is interested. Regardless, I'm not really impressed with these eyeshadows. I don't think they last particularly long, even with an eye base/primer.

New woman!!

Well, I feel like a new woman. Went to the store during Anniversary Sale and decided to take the time, sit down and let a MAC artist do my makeup. I usually use the higher end, older ladies line, but found I was looking sooooo boring! Not that I wanted any neon colors, but here's what she did. No more eye liner pencils!! She used Sweet Lust all over the lid with Humid in the lash line as a smudged liner. Beautiful!! Then we tried Jest all over with Deep Truth in the last line. Beautiful again!! Then we tried Yogurt all over and Nocturnelle as the liner. All three combinations were a success, so of course, I bought all three. I have light to medium skin with hazel eyes. All the makeup artists were using that "shadow in the crease" which was only making my eyes look smaller. I'm forever grateful to MAC for making me feel beautiful again! I learned so much on this visit. Oh yeah, keep the lip more nude with Taupe or Touch.

Teddy - my Fave MAC Kohl

I currently have MAC's Kohl in both the Teddy and Smolder shades but find I reach for Teddy much more often. The color is a gorgeous chocolate brown/bronze which although quite bold and intense, is not as harsh as 'Feline' - an intense black which I now hardly ever use. There is a slight red tone in here and a subtle gold shimmer which is what I feel 'lifts' it from being otherwise just another plain brown into something much bigger and better. It's great for a brown smoky eye look and also as a waterline liner, being creamy yet highly pigmented, applying smoothly and lasting a moderate amount of time. Considering I purchased this back in 2018, it's lasted me well, although that's partly down to me alternating between the two shades. My only slight criticism is that I don't find MAC's liners the easiest to sharpen and nor do they stay sharp for long, meaning frequent sharpening is involved. Still, it's a small price to pay for such a versatile color which works well with almost every eyeshadow shade in my collection. THE ONLY EYE LINER YOU'LL EVER NEED!

I purchased this in 'smolder' and it is by far the darkest, longest lasting eye liner I've ever used. It applies smoothly in a matte finish. I've gotten three (3) so far and the quality is consistent. Also, unlike other eye liner types, this pencil doesn't run out quickly... so keep it sharpened!
